# Burning stSEI\*

This page will walk you through how to burn your stSEI.\
\
1\. Navigate to the [kASSET](https://app.kryptonite.finance/kasset) tab. Click **Stake & Burn**.

2. Specify how much SEI you want to burn. Click **Burn stSEI** to burn stSEI.

**\*NOTE** - there is a 21 day unbonding period. At that time your balance will not be reflected until it is complete.
